Lynne Taylor

Lynne was selected to be a Gladiolus Group inductee for her unconventional commitment to informing the public on the dangers of Common Core and other nationalized education initiatives.

From 2002 to today, Lynne has been a featured speaker on several online media platforms with both nationwide listeners, as well as being a featured guest on international media platforms. Lynne has led hundreds of workshops that equip parents, entertain children and inform taxpayers.

Lynne ‘retired’ from teaching in 2015 as well as stepping down as a local education mentor and support group leader for a local homeschool co-operative.

Along the way, Lynne’s also been a business owner (educational field trips), children’s ministry director, in addition to being a wife & mom. Lynne’s presence has been sought as a board member for a NC based homeschool ministry; a liaison for an OH based “Protecting Innocence” campaign, and as an advisor to a national grassroots educational campaign (defunct) for helping parents know the dangers of the massive amounts of data tracking & its harm. At one time,

Lynne also helped co-found a statewide NC parental watchdog group (disbanded). Lynne, has appeared several times, before the NC General Assembly in efforts to preserve real freedom in education & helping families escape Common Core’s impacts.

Lynne has been awarded (2011) the Distinguished Educator Award from the National Society of High School Scholars, (2016), the L & B Network’s “Torchbearer Award” for education advocacy.

Now, in 2026, Lynn enjoys the honor of being inducted into the Gladiolus Group.

Lynne’s researched writings have appeared in Practical Homeschooling, Prevent Common Core (website now defunct), Patriot Institute (no longer available) and a frequent contributor to the American Policy Center/Catching Fire News. She appears, weekly, on the Sons of Liberty Media morning show (“Tell It to Me Tuesdays).

Finally, Lynne has been recognized by her peers as an expert in Common Core (and all its rebranded names), Career Tech Education, Career Pathways (all of which embed workforce based competencies), federal overreaches into families in the name of education, and STEM (roots from the United Nations).
