Kris Kimball
Kris Kimball has been involved with family issues, including education for more than 2 decades as a citizen lobbyist. In 2024, Kris was overwhelmingly selected by the delegates as the State Board District 7 Nominee, with over 60% of the vote. Now that the very same seat has come open a year later, Kris is the logical choice to be selected by SCC members for it.
Kris knew she had to run for the State Board when she saw how our children were suffering with low graduation proficiency and from the influence of harmful ideologies such as DEI, CRT and SEL in the classroom.
Kris would love to serve the families and teachers of Salt Lake County and hopes to earn the SCC’s votes as one of three candidates selected for the State Board 7 seat.
Kris has been involved with Republican Party politics for almost 20 years. Kris got started when she lived up in Davis County: she served as the Vice Chair and then later Chair of the Davis County GOP back in 2011-2013. She has served at the Precinct level as Precinct Chair and Vice Chair She has served numerous times as Delegate at the County and State party levels. Kris has also had the honor to serve as a National Delegate in 2016, 2020 and 2024.
Kris is a MAGA Republican and has voted for President Trump in 2016. 2020 and 2024, she has also had the privilege to serve as a Presidential Elector and was able to cast electoral votes for President Trump in the 2016 and 2024 elections.
Kris is a former radio/podcast host of the Liberty Moms Radio Show, on the KTLK radio network here in Utah, She is the co-founder of the Davis County Patriot Camp for kids K-6 and currently serves on the Board of Advisors with Mount Liberty College and United Women’s Forum in Salt Lake City. Last December she was elected Secretary of the Women’s Republican Club of Salt Lake County, the oldest Women’s Republican Club in the United States.
